In Your Memory - "Decadence"

About the song: Decadence was one of the first songs written after our release, “Reflections.” This song reflects the impact of the serious thoughts and actions that we deal with but keep bottled within ourselves. Nobody wants to talk about the pain, instead, we pride ourselves in speaking to the pleasures. It builds to a point where we hold too much pressure, the water gets to be too great, and we regress.

This is the base on which we’ve conceived the concept, "Life Vs. Lifestyle."

Enjoy, Let us know what you think!

About the video: We compiled three of our recent shows to emit the emotion, passion, and drive we put into our live shows. Prior to Decadence, our releases have been rather comical but this time we wanted to create urgency while letting everyone get a taste of what our live show feels like and what #sloppyvicious looks like.

Matt did a great job capturing every moment. This is a first look towards a new sound that represents our struggles, addictions, and captures a hint of what’s to come.

lyrics

Song Lyrics: Decadence

(Verse 1)

I wanna die, I wanna die, Give me a way,
I’ll let you, Inside my mind
(All of these lies, All in my mind)
Don’t give me sides, I’ll never side,
Are you ashamed to be apart of all these binds,
(All of these lies, All in my mind),
All of these lies it’s way to Captivating

(Chorus)

It’s time for your to figure it all out on your own,
“Cause I’ve left you no means,
With no trace of me, Just run along,
‘Cause I cannot compare it,
AND I can’t stand to take it

(Verse 2)

I wanna die, I wanna die, Give me a way,
I’ll let you, Inside my mind
(All of these lies, All in my mind)
Call me a tool, Call me a fool,
What ever takes to get me there
Right next to you
(All of these lies, All in my mind),
All of these lies it’s way to Captivating

(Chorus)

It’s time for your to figure it all out on your own,
“Cause I’ve left you no means,
With no trace of me, Just run along,
‘Cause I cannot compare it,
AND I can’t stand to take it

(New¬Perspective)

Would you feel better if I cared to fight,
Would you feel better if I died tonight,
Of all the things I care to say,
Of all the things I care to say,
It wouldn’t matter anyway

(Chorus)

It’s time for your to figure it all out on your own,

“Cause I’ve left you no means,
With no trace of me, Just run along,
‘Cause I cannot compare it,
AND I can’t stand to take it
